    PlugOrPump shows today's petrol and diesel prices at forecourts near any UK postcode, cheapest first, on a map and in a list. Switch to Plug to find the nearest electric vehicle charge points instead, with connector types, charging speed and price per kWh where the operator publishes it.

    Petrol and diesel prices

    Prices come from the government's Fuel Finder service. Every UK forecourt must report a price change within 30 minutes, and PlugOrPump checks for new prices every 20 minutes. You can compare unleaded petrol (E10) or diesel (B7) within 1 to 10 miles, and see how much you'd save on a 50-litre fill-up by driving to the cheapest station.

    EV charging points

    Charge point locations and prices come from charging operators' own open data, published under the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023, and from Open Charge Map. Filter by connector (Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO and more) or show rapid chargers only. Each charger shows where its price came from, so you know how far to trust it.

    Questions

    How up to date are the fuel prices?
    Forecourts must report a price change to Fuel Finder within 30 minutes, and we import new prices every 20 minutes. Each station shows when its price last changed. A price that last changed a few days ago is still current if the forecourt hasn't changed it since.
    Is PlugOrPump free?
    Yes. There's no sign-up and no app to install. It works in any browser on your phone or computer.
    Do you store my location?
    No. If you share your location, it's only used to find stations near you and isn't stored. You can search by postcode instead. See the privacy page for details.
    Which areas are covered?
    All of the UK. Postcode search works for full postcodes (such as LS6 1AN) and for the first half only (such as LS6).
    Why might the price at the pump be different?
    A forecourt can change its price shortly before its report reaches us, and EV prices can depend on the time of day or how you pay. Always check the price at the pump or in the charging app before you buy.
